We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our Caissa team, Halina Alexejun. Halina is our new Director of Operations.

To get to know her better, we put together a list of questions and had her answer them:

• How do you stay updated with industry trends and news?
  • Halina: I like to start each day by listening to a variety of news updates and podcasts, such as Schwab Market Update, UpFirst, and Morning Brew Daily. I also read blogs and newsletters from sources such as Investment News and WealthManagement.com. My focus is to stay up to date on the latest in fintech, regulatory changes, and RIA industry news. I also enjoy networking with past colleagues and industry professionals and attending webinars and conferences to exchange insights and discuss practice management strategies. I always try to stay connected!

• What do you think sets our wealth management company apart from others?
  • Halina: CAISSA stands out by its unwavering commitment to the success of its clients. From my very first interaction with the team, I was struck by their dedication to understanding and supporting clients’ goals. With a strong client-centric culture, CAISSA combines passion, expertise, and dedication to deliver exceptional, tailored service.

• What hobby or interest (outside of work) are you passionate about?
  • Halina: I love being a boy-mom and enjoy going outdoors as much as possible, whether that means navigating new parks/playgrounds or simply playing in the backyard. I love to downhill ski and am looking forward to Minnesota’s expected winter snowfall.

• Who would it be if you could have dinner with any historical figure, celebrity, political figure, etc.?
  • Halina: I have long been captivated by Princess Diana and the immense potential she had to transform the world of philanthropy had her life not been cut tragically short. She brought activism into the spotlight with remarkable grace, leaving a lasting legacy, particularly in her groundbreaking efforts to raise global awareness of mental health.

• What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy workday?
  • Halina: After a busy workday and a hectic nighttime routine with my boys, I appreciate the quiet once they’re asleep. Whether it’s heading to the gym for a much-needed escape or unwinding with a night of reality TV, it’s my way to recharge and clear my mind.

• What is the best piece of advice you have received?
  • Halina: Find your purpose and build your life around it. Your life is your own story. 

• Share a skill or talent that you have that people may not know.
  • Halina: I have been drawing Ukrainian Easter Eggs “Pysanky” since my mother taught me as a young child.
